Yesterday afternoon, the front stoop on every house on my block was tagged by a bright neon piece of paper tucked into the railings. Pulling out mine, I was greeted with the message "What have your STEM CELLS done for you lately?"

That was just the beginning. "Why not have your own ADULT STEM CELLS work to enhance your health?" The product is "a concentrated natural aquabotanical extract that 'wakes up' our body's stem cells and puts them to work!"

For just $59.95, the stem cell enhancer boosts the "natural role of adult stem cells." Two capsules "support the release of stem cells from the bone marrow into the bloodstream. Through a natural process, those stem cells then travel to areas of the body where they are most needed."

The flyer, of course, also contained two phone numbers and a Web site where people can find out more information (which I am declining to provide, to minimize any publicity).

Don't take products like stem-enhance untill more studies have been done. Instead, use products like Vera-mist that are FDA approved for seasonal allergies so you can trade off sneezing and itchy watery eyes for glaucoma and cataracts. Stay away from natural products, they can't guarantee that they will cause multiple other symptoms just to slow one symptom.

It's interesting to see everyones comments.

I too am a distributor and believer in the product. I had a serious back injury that was completely healed within two weeks of taking the product.

Many people shun natural products in place of traditional medicine. In some cases medicine is the right choice. But if you maintain an open mind and start working with the body, great things happen. Things that science has a hard time explaining.

My advise to anyone is to go out and do your own research... do your own testing. See how your body responds. Medicine does not have all the answers. Maybe we should see what, if anything, we can do to help heal ourselves.

Save some money

If one does a little research on pubmed you can find that stem cell release is associated with CD34+ cells. One can also find that CD34+ proliferation can be induced by glycosaminoglycans. Glucosamine (a glycosaminoglycan) is a cheap supplement commonly used to treat osteoarthritis and has been linked with CD34+ cell increase.
Also, if one read the triple-blind study performed by this company you can see that only 15 people were tested. This is hardly a statistically relevant population size. There also didn't seem to be any repeat studies. Can the results even be reproduced? I'd think twice before reaching for my pocketbook.

Hi, I have recently joined this company as an Independent Distributor and I can tell you that this 100% organic supplement really does work! My husband for the last 8 years has suffered with severe PTSD and Bipolar. He has pretty much sat in a chair and watch the world go by for most of that time. If you asked him to do something-it was always, "my ankles hurt, my back hurts, I don't feel well." Since starting Stem Enhance 3 weeks ago-he is up moving around, has no pain in his ankles or back and asked me to purchase season football tickets. He even wants go traveling this summer. I am a founding distributor in the company that you commented about when talking about Selling stem cells door to door. That is not the correct title for what we are doing. There are no stem cells in our product.
If you are a real scientist you don't operate with a closed mind. Adult stem cells are pluripotent when in vivo. The only real motive for using embryonic is money. Adult stem cells can't be patented and sold for big bucks. The product you are talking about is the ONLY natural product on the market that the general public can afford to enhance adult stem cell physiology. There are studies and articles with very exacting science and much more to come including a second patent. Don't discount this product. If you are prejudiced against natural alternatives you will try to discredit this company and the science behind it but you won't succeed. They are taking the market by storm. In just 18 months they have added over 25,000 customers and distributors, and are selling over 2 Million US dollars worth per MONTH! What does that tell you about the real market for Stem Cell enhancers?

The product is actually scientifically proven with Triple Blind Double Crossover Studies and is patented to prove it releases 25 to 30% more stem cells from the bone marrow. There is an independent study of the product to be release in the next Journal of Caridiovascular Revascularization Medicine, an affilitate of NIH.
